Career & Community Exploration (CCE V and VI)  provides participants with a day program that includes community activities and integrated paid or volunteer work experience. Support or assistance emphasizes development of functional skills and community inclusion through age appropriate activities and curriculum. Instructional areas may include, but are not limited to: personal empowerment, employment skills development, self-advocacy, accessing community resources, personal health and hygiene, social skills development, occupational and community safety, communication skills, informed decision making, public transportation and mobility training, money and wage management, leisure and recreational skill development, and task completion.

The service design allows flexible participation for individuals with personal care, stamina, health, or behavioral issues. CCE V offers a five- hour day and CCE VI offers a six-hour day; both programs run Monday through Friday, part-time participation is arranged on an individual basis. Day program activities and schedules may be individualized to meet the changing needs and interests of aging clients.
